Detailed History: Alcaeus Artemisios was not turned in the traditional way you would normally find among Lycans. He is indeed a werewolf, but ever since his "birth" in 401 AD he has been able to transform. Alcaeus' eyes turn a blood red and his blonde hair turns into a smoke grey and grows to cover his entire body. All the while you can see his muscles and bones changing shape into the all too familiar form of the Lycan. The Temple of Artemis one of Seven Wonders of the Ancient World was destroyed in the 401 AD. The morning after the destruction of the temple there was a full moon and the howls of a young pup could be heard coming from the rubble. Then there were sharp, piercing screams that frightened the whole population of Ephesus until morning. Come day light the howling had stopped and the echoes of the screams had long sing gone silent. The city guard approached the temple rubble to see an absolute blood bath. Nearly a dozen priestesses of Artemis who had been mourning the loss of their home of place of worship had apparently been ripped to shreds and had, for the most part, been devoured. Lying in the midst of the carnage, with a gleaming crescent moon shaped medallion, sat a strong, and angry looking child. Not a man, not a half-man, but a child no older than the age of ten. And the child was absolutely clean. Which should have been impossible. The boy was sitting in a puddle nearly ankle deep of blood. and it looked as if the puddle had just formed around him. But no little boy who was unarmed could do this too anyone. Could he?
The Guards took the boy before the Council and asked what they were to do with him. The Council saw the medallion and assumed that he had been intended as a sacrifice to the Goddess Artemis. But then as they were about to order the boy to be sacrificed. Alcaeus finally spoke. "You must send me away from here. Far away from here. Please I beg of you. I don't know how I did what I did to those women. But it was me. All me. Please banish me before I hurt anyone else." This while coming from the mouth of a young boy was clearly not the voice of a child. He spoke as if he had lived for a thousand years and with the authority as if a King speaking to a servant. But still it came as a plea, or more so an order. "Do it now! For the safety of your people!" The Council knew a warning when they heard it. They ordered the Guard to take him out of the city walls immediately, and to also arm him with a bow and a few arrows so the bow could survive in the wild.
The guards and Alcaeus set out and soon reached the walls. But as they did they noticed that the moon was still out.. in broad daylight as Alcaeus set eyes upon the moon you could see the muscles in his body pulsate and start shifting. He transformed right before the guards eyes. He started at them for a long moment and emitted a loud mournful howl. One guard ran screaming from the scene while another drew his sword and attempted to gut the creature. This triggered a blood lust deep within Alcaeus. He howled again but this time in anger and leaped at the guard. The guard dodged to the side and took off running down a side street turning every corner he could find to lose the creature he was sure was pursuing him. Soon he found himself exhausted but still alive and seemingly no longer pursued. He took a moment to catch his breath. As he leaned against the wall of the building he noticed an irregular sound to his breathing. So he for a moment he held his breath. The irregular breathing sound continued for one moment then a deep growl rumpled from above. The last thing the guard saw as he bled out was the snout of a great terrible wolf beast that seemed to fit the legends of King Lycaon. But the strange part was was that there were tears streaming down the beast's face as he killed the guard.
That was 1,611 years ago. Since then Alcaeus has traveled all around what is now called Europe. He traveled from town to town never staying anywhere longer than one month. The longer he stayed the more risk he ran of going into that uncontrollable blood lust. In 1930 he met a Russian doctor. Dr. Vilkov was his name. He knew upon looking at Alcaeus what he was. Alcaeus now appeared the age of around 23. But the eyes were that of a wise old man and also a savage killer. Dr. Vilkov spent 11 years helping Alcaeus learn to control his blood lust. Then in 1941 Nazi Germany began its invasion into Russian land. Murdering, raping and pillaging all the while. One night members of the SS broke into Dr. Vilkov's lab and killed him instantly. Alcaeus had viewed the man as a father figure. The blood lust that followed was the first time that Alcaeus could control who he hunted. He was a major factor (though none know of him in history books) in the Russian counter strike that caused the downfall of the Third Reich. In the last seventy years Alcaeus has journeyed further. Alcaeus still has yet to claim an actual home, but now with his powers under control he feels ready to live amongst his people and use his abilities however they will best help. Today he is now entering Athens. The capital of his former Homeland. To hopefully find more like him to live with.
Fears: Alcaeus' worst fear is that someday he may lose control of his power again.
Strengths: Alcaeus has the blood of a hunter. He has a blood lust for his prey that makes him nearly unstoppable until he takes his prey as his own.
Likes: He very much enjoys poetry, loves to visit the old ruins of the Greek Gods, and unsurprisingly enjoys the thrill of a hunt in either beast form or human form.
Dislikes: The bat like human shaped parasites also known as Vampires, and being kept from his hunting his chosen prey.
Appearance:
Facial Appearance: Piercing, blue eyes and light blonde hair both attributes shared with Artemis. Alcaeus' hair is thick and very short. almost as short as a military haircut. His skin is a light olive color typical among Greek men. Constantly carries a look of great wisdom and depth on his face.
Clothing: Alcaeus wears animal hide clothing. which in the modern times does not fit in well. but it is the most convenient for his lifestyle. But typically does not wear a shirt to make it easier on him when transforming.
Build: Alcaeus is 6'2" and has a strong build. broad shoulders. enough muscle tone to look extremely fit but not look like a body builder.
Wolf Form: Fur is a smoke grey color. Eyes turn from blue to a blood red color. the red is not contained to the iris. the whites of the eyes also turn blood red. with a luminescent quality to them. Alcaeus' wolf form is regular wolf form. but it is double the size of what most would consider a large wolf. one interesting marking on the wolf forms pelt resembles Alcaeus' medallion. the crescent moon shape. it is that shape in black fur that is on his back.
Marks/Scars: Alcaeus has no scars on him or abnormal markings on him.
