Luke couldn't help but breath a slight sigh of relief as he felt the conversation taking another turn lest he bury himself into a hole that he couldn't climb out of. Luke knew that he meant was he said about Adele's looks but he try his best to not let on about that and he welcomed the change in conversation lest he feel more awkward about what he had said in the past. As the waitress walked up he said in Greek, "another coffee please" and he waited for Adele to order what she was going to order and for the waitress to walk off before answering Adele's question. "To be honest I have never met another of my kind, I didn't even know others existed. Honestly I thought I was going to end up like Michael in that movie Underworld. Vampires trying to kill the abomination while the lycans try to make him stronger for their purposes kind of thing. But now I only think that half of that is true, the half about the vampires thinking I'm an abomination and want me dead because of what I am. So I've never really fit in all that much, but on the plus side I get to say I'm special on the inside." He laughed a little as the waitress walked back over to deliver the drinks they had ordered. As Luke responded with a thank you in Greek and the waiter was on her way he began to resume the conversation. "But in all seriousness I had been looking for a place to belong and Geoff gave that to me so I am very grateful to him for that. But I wish these lycans would make peace so we can focus on the real enemy, the vampires."

"I know there are others," Adele spoke with a conviction she couldn't quite place. "The Lycan leader has talked of some of her kids being Hybrids. And there have to be more besides that too..." She couldn't really justify why she believed that. But for as long as she could remember she always thought that because there are so many people in the world, there had to be someone else in a similar situation as you. That thought comforted her when she was younger, made her feel less alone. Anyway, Alena had mentioned children fathered by Raven, and as strange as that relationship sounded to Adele, she believed the Mother, so Luke couldn't be the only one like in that movie. Underworld, by the way, unnerved the Lycan with how close it actually was to real life. The Vampires and Werewolves had been at war for centuries, and the Human filmmakers guessed a lot correctly for not knowing of the existence of either night race. "It's pretty cool your cousin has still welcomed you even with all you've been through. In my experience, blood relatives aren't usually so accepting. I'm glad you've found acceptance with Geoff's group." Adele smiled one of the few smiles she'd released in the last few days. With dealing with Damien confronting his father's death and learning of the destruction of the Roman Den and Pablo's abduction, there hadn't been much reason to smile. But for some reason, Adele felt happy for this man that he had at least a small group to feel at home with. Though she hadn't always felt so, she now believed that it was important to have people who felt like family; Pablo, and even Damien were her family now. "You're right though, we do need to put this inner fighting aside and focus on destroying the Vampires."

Luke sat as he listened to Adele and when she finished he felt good that she agreed with him at the very least. He finally responded saying "I just don't know how we would go about doing that, making a peace between the two sides of this lycan trouble. I mean if I can be accepted then we can make a peace, it should be possible." As Luke sat their pondering everything that they had discussed and how long they had actually been there at that cafe it felt like they had been there forever. "How long have we been here? Feels like forever, you know we can do something other than sit here all day." He paused for a second then reached a sudden realization, "But we can stay if you want, I don't mind either way." Luke thought to himself that he didn't want to say something that drove Adele away because this was the longest conversation he had with anyone since he had been turned into a hybrid.

"Eh? I'm fine here. Unless you had someplace else in mind?" There wasn't much else Adele could think of that they could really do. She wasn't going to take him back to Perrin's just yet; she'd just met this guy. And really, she should be out looking for Pete, but she was enjoying just sitting her talking at the moment. Pete would be alright, she felt. The young woman sipped for her latte, quietly studying Luke to see if he was uncomfortable with the conversation or her presence. The thought breifly occured to her that he might just be lonely since becoming a Hybrid and was not used to having company. But she passed over the idea. She decided he wasn't uncomfortable with her amd smiled reassuringly. Looking out the window, Adele watched as the city of Athens woke up; more and more people were out on the streets, many entering the coffee shop on their way to work or before starting their days. The sun rose higher, casting birght light all over the cafe and the young woman squinted and looked away from the illuminated window. It looked like it was going to be a nice day, even if a little chilly. "Anyway, I'm sure Geoff and Alena will come to terms at some point. I don't really know how to speed it up, but they can't stay angry with each other forever, right?" Even though she said it, Adele questioned whether or not Alena would be able to stay angry for ever. In Adele's years at the mansion in Sweden, she'd learned the Queen of Lycans did not take slights very well. But she'd loved Geoff, hadn't she? Maybe there'd be exception for him.
