Adele frowned as her friend spoke, casting her eyes momentarily to the ground. She understood why Pablo would want to leave; his current situation was not ideal at all. If their positions were swapped, she'd hate it too. But a sting of sadness struck her at the thought of Pablo wanting to leave their home, and so soon after he'd come back. Then of course, there was the matter that Pablo's actions as of late, hadn't been very Pablo-like; he obviously wasn't himself. Again, given the recent events, anomalies were to be expected, but her friend had never been so... cold before.
The concern never left her eyes as Pablo spoke on what Xhel was doing at the den, but she nodded her understanding. She desperately wanted to plead with him not to leave, but the young woman bit her tongue. "I... I guess I'll wait with you for Xhel to come back, then."
When he finally addressed why his sheets were stained with his blood, Adele found herself sighing quietly. She hadn't exactly expected him to go to this extent for the hybrid, but his admission didn't exactly come as a surprise either. More surprising, still, was the way he spoke of the pack mother. After damn near 7 years of hearing Pablo speak borderline obsessively about Alena in a positive light, the last few days of him speaking of her only with frustration and anger was a little alarming. His current situation, she assumed, did little to help his opinion of her.
Tucking a golden strand of hair behind an ear, Adele brought a small smile to her lips for Pablo as she looked into his face again. Maybe, if he wouldn't stay for her or Okello, he would stay for Lucia. Whatever the case, she'd promised Okello to deliver his message. "We- ah, Okello and I saw Lucia this evening." Gazing into his eyes as he grabbed one of her arms, Adele tried to keep the smile on her face for him. It hurt to see him so torn up; Perrin's heir endeavored to show the strength Okello had said their friend would need. "She was.. very friendly. Okello invited her to hang out with all of us, and she was happy to meet him." The lycaness wasn't sure how much she wanted to share about her interaction with the hybrid, or the unease she felt, but spoke again. "We found her in your room. She," looking down at her lap for a moment, Adele found herself tucking the same stray strand of hair behind her ear again. "She misses you a lot. But she looks like she has healed well."

It didn’t escape the hunter how pleased Alena was to see him struggle against her grip. Was that what she wanted? To feel Xhel’s resistance, he wouldn’t oblige. “It’s not a lie.” He said between clenched teeth. The thought of Alena touching him, this monster of a being made his jaw clench. He meet her gaze. The sight of her was altogether different. The subtle movement of her bodies… the less subtle ones as well. Maybe he did have something left to give, but she wouldn’t have it. “Why can’t you take that for the compliment that it is?” He said, breathing slow, steadying his heart rate. He refused to humor her. She would not please him. Xhel could change how damn good she felt, but he could ignore it. Mind over matter, he’d trained himself. It was not to different than resisting the torture he’d felt at the hands of Alena’s lover. The means were different, but the goal at the end the same, to dominate him.
“Seems to be. Maybe I just know when I’ve been beat.” Xhel said, watching as she lowered herself. It took far more than he cared to admit to withhold the gasp in the back of his throat. Her soft and heavy breast, pressing against his chest. It was their warmth he hadn’t expected. Between the strength of her grip, and her heat, it felt like being enveloped by a pleasant flame. One he’d be too eager to be smothered by. It was subtle, his body showed no sign, but between his legs a pleasant tingling began. It was a relief as she sat back up. Xhel clenched his teeth. At this rate it was inevitable. He’d be moaning and writhing beneath her in a matter of time, he tried to maintain a bored demeanor. Then she let go of his arms. Instinctively he wanted to reach out, strike at Alena, but that had to be what she wanted. She was baiting him, luring him into another struggle. It’s what she wanted, but it was also his only chance of escaping. She’d overpower him, he had to get the jump on her. Alena’s fingers wrapped around him. Change of plans. A gasp escaped his lips. A fake one, but one that formed far too easily. “I can’t.” He said, biting his lip, as she slowly worked him. Her grip seizing tight around him in all the right places. A moment came, where he nearly pushed his hips up to meet hers. “Not with you, Alena.” His eyes closed sinking into the heat. He’d have to get the hand gripping him off. Xhel reached past her, pulling her arm away. “Fuck.” He moaned, glancing away from her, like he refused to let her see his shame. It was real. He held out his hand, slowly pulling it back before reluctantly giving in and gripping tight to her thigh. His fingers sank into her flesh a moment longer than they should have. Kneading her flesh. So soft, so warm. He thought, before suddenly sliding his hands beneath her thighs.
For all her strength Xhel was fortunate it did not equate to weight. He lifted her with all his strength, yanking back hard on her arm, and sliding his knee between their bodies as the space formed. He tossed over his head and onto her back quite easily. Xhel moved with purpose. Sitting up and lunging at the belt by the edge of the bed. He found a knife. Turning he swiped at Alena with the blade. Hoping to the found the lycan lunging herself at him.

Alena kept her gaze on the man as she carefully worked him, watching his lips. It was a slight disappointment that he did not act out when she let go of his wrists, but the queen of werewolves was not deterred.
His words only barely registered to her, they were of little importance. Perhaps it was her own desire perceiving what she wanted, but for a moment it almost seemed like Xhel had accepted his current role; that he would push up to meet her, and take her of his own volition. Instead, he turned his head away. Leaning forward, Alena grabbed the hunter by the chin, turning his head to face her. The man's grip on her thigh, his moan, excited her. She could feel a moan of her own beginning to form.
Instead, the human pushed her off of him, throwing her over his head. Gasping as Xhel was pulled out of her, a wide grin spread her face as she landed on her back. Craning her head back, Alena watched the hunter reach for his belt, procuring a knife. She turned over quickly, propping herself up on an elbow at first, before getting to her hands. It might have been the flickering of the lighted sconces in her room; a blink, and one might not have even seen the brief shift in Alena's features. Her eyes becoming more predatory and her jaw assuming a more pronounced sharpness. But perhaps it was only the shadows playing off the walls. The queen of lycanthropy smiled wide as Xhel swiped toward her, a devious light in her eyes. "Is this your way of asking to be spanked again?"
Alena could feel her heart racing excitedly as the hunter took another swing with his knife. Here was the fire she'd wanted; Xhel was fast for a human. She caught the arm weilding the knife at his wrist, holding him with both of her hands at first. Yet his momentum pushed her onto her back. Getting her legs between his, Alena kicked the inside of his thighs, pushing them out to bring his body down, closer to her, before scooting down slightly. Bringing her legs up, Alena pushed Xhel forward, the top of her thighs pushing the back of his thighs up her body.
He was so very close to her; the tip of him practically brushing against her. Letting go of his wrist with one of her hands, she reached between the hunter's legs, stroking him before leaning up. Passing her tongue around his tip twice, Alena pulled her face away only to hold his cock between her breasts. She tried to keep a firm grip on the hunter's wrist, but it was so tempting to get her hands on him; she wanted to take him and consume him whole. Holding her breasts together with her free hand, she tried to move enough that his dick, caught within her soft warmth, would feel truly encompassed by her.
Unfortunately, Alena couldn't let him linger there long; her desire too great. Wrapping her free hand around his waist, gripping his rear, the wolf mother took Xhel into her mouth, flicking her tongue across his tip and along his shift before sucking lightly on him. She cast a brief glance back to see the hunter's features, but didn't waste much time before wrapping her warm, soft lips around his length again.

There was no comfort in the sight of Adele’s concerned eyes. Yes, it was nice to know she cared, that he still had somebody, but it would make leaving all the much harder. There was little here besides his friends… and with the way they’d been treated, shouldn’t they want the same? Maybe they would come with him? That would be nice. As long as Alena didn’t take it as a slight, and named them enemies. Regardless he couldn’t stay here, he would leave, assuming that’s what Lucia wanted. Pablo nodded as Adele spoke. “Thank you… Addy. You can stay, but I don’t think he’s coming back.” One way or the other. Pablo held back a frown. His cousin was leaving the den dead or alive, he was certain of it.
Pablo noticed Adele’s sigh. It seemed somebody else was unhappy with his actions. What didn’t they understand? A little pain was worth making the one you loved happy. You did nice things for the people you cared for. Even at a little inconvenience. “Addy, I need new sheets, but really there’s no harm done.” He said holding out his palm to her. The wound had smoothed over.
The lycan cocked his head, as Adele smiled at him and brushed a stray hair behind her ear. She was pretty when she did that, surprisingly so. It made him smile in return. Why hadn’t he noticed in the past? He felt his heart skip a beat at the mention of Lucia. So they had gone to see her. He squeezed his arm softly, taking in the imagery of Adele and sending it to Lucia as the lycan spoke of the hybrid. He nearly laughed. “Maybe too friendly for you?” Remembering his first encounter with Lucia. He suspected Addy’s encounter hadn’t nearly reached some heights of familiarity. The image nearly made him blush, and he shook the thought free. The mention of Okello hadn’t sully his mood. His friend was trying it seemed. Maybe he had been too hard on Okello. He was well aware of Alena’s ability to manipulate. A being of that age and wisdom it was easy to go along with what they wanted. He noticed Adele didn’t quite say how she felt about the hybrid. That was curios. “You liked her, right?” His grip tightened again. He had to hear her say yes. The thought of Lucia and Adele not getting along was surprisingly painful. Of course she’d been in his room. Looking for something to remember him by. Another smile, she’d have a hard time. Unlike Lucia, he’d rarely spent time inside. It wasn’t his shrine or place of refuge, just a room to sleep in. Again Adele tucked a hair behind her ear, again the sight was strange. He wanted to do it himself, or no, that was too intimate, tell her to stop… He was Lucia’s now. The thought was almost foreign. Adele wasn’t doing anything on purpose. His gut wrenched. The rest of what she said, made his insides a turmoil of emotion. Longing to see his lover, elated at her words. He wanted to see her, but also wanted to smile, and did so for his friend. Lucia I miss you, and love you. Wait for me. Please. He ended his connection with her, and flung his arms around Adele. “Thank you.” He said quietly. “You don’t know what it means to hear from her.”

Alena’s taunt may have made Xhel blush if he was not red in the face, exertion from breaking free. That had felt nice, the memory was foggy, but the feeling hadn’t be. He wanted it again, but from Alena. The thought she’d brought him to such pleasure was humiliating, and drove the force behind his swing. She caught it, easily. Unfortunately, in this struggle his equipment was the only advantage he’d find. Alena went toppling onto her back. He doubled his effort. If not now then when? He’d be kept at this damned woman’s mercy. Xhel doubled his efforts, but Alena moved deftly. Pushing out his legs, sending him falling onto her. The lycan was in control. Even now leaning over her. Her powerful legs pushing him up her body, maneuvering him right where she wanted. It took Xhel a moment to realize, leaning over the bed, struggling to pry the knife free from his tightly gripped hand. Suddenly her grip felt looser, and a hand ran up and down his shaft. Xhel gasped. She had him. His length within her palm, there were few holds more certain. Instinctively he didn’t want to push away. He fought, trying to free the knife. Why was she doing this? “Let. Me. Go.” His teeth clenched. Alena’s tongue quickly flicking over his tip drew out another moan. When she enveloped his dick within her breast, he shuddered.
The heat was unreal, the softness unmistakable. Xhel gasped against the mattress, slightly salivating at the corner of his mouth. He hand to end this. There was a moment of relief, as she freed him, only to grip his rear, he grunted. She took him into her mouth. He cried out, the pleasure he tried to restrain escaping. Why… why did she insist on this? She worked him with skill, changing the way in which she played, keeping him guessing. He bit his tongue, pulling his hand away from Alena’s, to hold him up. The pressure in the base of his shaft was building once again. She seemed to double her efforts. He couldn’t do this. Not with her. “No.” He nearly cried out. Clenching a fist and punching at Alena’s wrist. She let go… or he’d freed himself. It didn’t matter. Acting, he brought the knife to her throat, closely reaching behind him as he tried to pull away. Xhel let out a gasp, cold air hitting his warm crotch, as he escaped her lips. Xhel shuddered, as he sat up on Alena holding the blade to her throat, a hand holding her down by the chest. “What is wrong with you?” He demanded. Pressing the tip of his knife closer. “Let me go. We can end this cleanly.” He said, his eyes seething. Though he felt far more than angry. His desire was apparent, hard and leaning over Alena’s chest. How’d nice they had felt. The hand holding her down slid from her chest to his shoulder. Xhel was shaking, wrought with adrenaline, the tip of his silver knife nicked Alena’s throat drawing a droplet of blood.

Biting her lip in consideration as Pablo held out his palm to show her, Adele nodded a little. There was no apparent proof along his skin that he'd even managed to slice himself enough to draw blood. At the least, it meant that her friend was physically sound, even if the act itself seemed a little dark.
The slightest shade of color rose to her cheeks when Pablo asked if Lucia had been too friendly for her.
"You liked her, right?"
"Ah," licking her lips, Adele smiled self-consciously, "a little too friendly, ja." She hardly knew anything about the girl except for what Pablo had told her, yet the hybrid seemed far too eager to touch and hug her. And Okello. The notion just struck her as odd and made her a bit uncomfortable. For the most part, Adele rarely wanted to touch even her friends. Lucia was assuming too much, at least from her.
When Pablo threw his arms around her, the young woman tensed initially, before sinking into the embrace and wrapping her arms around him in kind. His soft words sounded so incredibly sincere, it nearly broke her heart. Adele squeezed her friend tighter for a moment, before finally pulling away. She smiled softly, meeting his gaze, "I'll keep checking on her for you. She may join us tomorrow? I think." Perrin's heir wasn't exactly sure when Lucia would be joining Okello and the rest of their friends, perhaps tomorrow was too early of an estimate; she supposed it depended on how long Alena would keep the hybrid doing chores.
Sitting back, Adele took a look around Pablo's room, noticing something on the nearby chair, resembling clean sheets. Getting to her feet, the young woman turned to get the sheets, but stopped herself before reaching the chair, closing her eyes tight. She'd been aware, she supposed, of a familiar, underlying smell within the room; but the sight and smell of Pablo's blood had fully preoccupied her concerns since entering the room. Turning toward the chair and nightstand, Adele saw the plates of meat, and the underlying scent she'd been able to previously ignore, came barging into the forefront of her mind. Her stomach churned in response: hungry, yet overwhelmingly disgusted. She squeezed her eyes shut tighter. All she could see behind closed eyes were the cattle corpses that had dangled beside her in Rome. Pablo's mostly-uneaten meals, prepared rare, smelled too much like that place.
Shaking her head, Adele rubbed her eyes momentarily and turned toward Pablo's bed, busying herself by pulling off the sheets soiled with blood.
"Pablo." Rolling the dirty sheets into a ball and tossing them by the door, Adele hesitated for a moment before continuing. "The vampires know about your cave. In Oslo." She turned to look at her friend, "C-Catherine was there the night I found you. She must have followed you, or-" the color drained from the blonde's face and she stopped talking, looking away. Or, had Catherine followed her to Pablo? She didn't even want to consider it as a possibility, but the lycaness hadn't noticed Catherine's presence at the cave, it wasn't so crazy that she didn't feel the blood-sucker's presence if she'd been tailed. On their way out of Rome, she and Damien had had other things on their mind than worrying about vampires. Then there was the fact that Catherine seemed... overly interested in Adele. What if the vampiress had been following her? She cursed quietly under her breath, before adding, "Or me."
Chewing on her lip, Adele could still hear Catherine's taunt, how she knew Pablo had told her to leave, but he so obviously wanted her to stay. That woman was terrifying; an unstable monster. And she'd been the one keeping Pablo when she'd happened upon her friend in the old Oslo den.

Every gasp and moan from the hunter as Alena played with him only further encouraged her. He might be forcing the words out, demanding to be set free, but his moans, his body, the way he shuddered; it all screamed quite the opposite.
When he cried out as she took him into her mouth, the queen of lycanthropy couldn't help herself. She let Xhel break her grip, moving that hand to touch his firm stomach as she felt him growing harder. As he pulled away from her, Alena gazed up at the human, desire in her eyes even as he held his silver knife to her throat. Without realizing, the werewolf found herself biting her lip, a small smile at the corners of her lips. The sight above her was incredibly tempting, and as Xhel held the knife closer, pressing the edge against her throat, Alena's desire only grew. For a moment it felt like there were butterflies in her chest. It wasn't lost upon her that the hunter's other hand was planted quite firmly upon one of her breasts. Without meaning to, perhaps, Xhel seemed to squeeze her slightly as he spoke.
Alena lifted her chin slightly to further expose her neck to the man. He looked so very angry, and yet was quite clearly aroused. How delightful; this is what she'd wanted. She didn't even bother trying to conceal the moan that escaped as he pressed his knife closer, drawing blood. She knew he was serious; that's why it was so damn erotic. "There's still hope for a clean end." Her voice was quiet, full of poorly restrained lust.
Letting the fingers of her right hand snake around Xhel's knife weilding wrist, Alena simultaneously brought her left hand up putting pressure on that arm, just above the elbow, while shifting her hips to push him to the side. Moving quickly, she knocked the silver knife away, sending it flying toward the door as she lay the hunter on his back, turning her back to him. Wasting no time, the queen of wolves straddled the human while grabbing his manhood with one hand, stroking him again. Wiggling her rear playfully above Xhel's face, Alena leaned forward taking the hunter's tip into her mouth, licking and sucking before taking the rest of him, her excitement more than apparent.

That wasn’t quite what Pablo wanted to hear, but he grinned at Adele’s soft smile anyway. “You’ll get use to her in time. Trust me.” He said, he’d tried to warn Lucia, but the hybrid’s excitement had likely gotten the best of Lucia. Hopefully it hadn’t put Adele too off. They had to befriend one another. Pablo wasn’t sure what he’d do otherwise. “Making new friends… it overwhelmed her. Outside of me, she’s never had any her own age.” He said, looking at her with pleading eyes.
The lycan relaxed, sighing softly as Adele returned the embrace. Despite her trepidations she always held him so softly. And she was quite warm, he hadn’t noticed until recently. The lycan’s scent was familiar, comforting, reminding him of his friends and home, and Catherine? The image flashed in his mind. The vampiress clinging him tight to her soft body as they pushed into one another. As Adele squeezed him tighter, he swore he was there. Catherine softly moaning in his ear, mocking him with talk of Adele, mocking him with her scent. The lycaness and the pleasure was all he remember thinking of then. Pablo felt warm and tensed within Adele’s arms. He didn’t want this memory, not now. Catherine had.. she had… forced herself onto him. A vampire. The thought made him shrivel inside. And he had loved it, a moment of true passion. Pleasure in spite of the pain from his wounds, respite even from pain that Lucia had caused . But she had reasons. Right? Dane had fooled her.
Fortunately, Adele pulled away. Pablo struggled to banish the thought of his head. His lips pressed to Catherine’s bare shoulder, the softness of her chest, pressed so tight, no. He would not entertain it. His gaze returned to Adele. Remembering what the vampiress had said. Adele had surrendered for Pablo’s sake… foolishly and sweetly. He wasn’t worth it, not if Addy was the price. He shook his head. Watching as Adele fixed up his bed. His cave had been compromised? That was unfortunate. HE would need a new one, maybe use that one as a trap first. “That’s okay.” He said, smiling to himself, recalling his last time there with Lucia. Another thought that needed banishing, but one he wished to hold onto. He smiled as Addy turned to look at him. And then of course she mentioned her. His gut wrenched, he frowned. Adele had rescued him from Catherine? “I- I- don’t think it was you.” That was the least of his concerns. He remembered the vampiress’ taunts. What she’d wanted to do to Adele, what she had already done. “I—I went there straight from Oslo… Catherine was there.” He stumbled to his feet, walking up to Addy, and gently squeezed her shoulder. “How did you get us away?” He looked at her in near wonder. Remembering Catherine’s taunts. Lucia wanting to share her. How Adele had tasted. How Addy loved him, shifting down to welcome her bite in exchange for his life. His cheeks were red for a second. Of course that couldn’t be true. The vampire had been taunting him, how could he now

Of course Alena was bloody smiling. XHel grit his teeth, pressing the knife tighter to Alena’s throat. Carefully holding himself still from shaking in rage. Cut her throat and he was a dead man, rid the world of a terror, but lose his own life and his cousin’s. Deep down he knew it was worth it. On the surface though he hesitated. Pablo would see Alena for the monster she was, and finally leave this unholy place. Together they could do so much more. Xhel tightened his grip. Feeling her softness between his fingers, a distraction his body reacted to positively. He was warm and hard, frustratingly so. The desire wrought in Alena’s eyes did not help. There was something erotic, watching her lost in lust, while held in such a precarious position. The way she revealed her throat to him, taunting him, he felt a pleasant shiver. Pressing the knife tighter, drawing blood, and of course she moaned. His lips felt dry, but he did not wet them. The lust she spoke with was not lost upon him, fuck if he didn’t feel it, but he wouldn’t give in. “Only if you let me go.” He said, not ready to take her words for resignation. There was so much desire in Alena, what was wrong with her?
Xhel felt tense, his blade tight to Alena’s throat. He noticed Alena’s hand snaking up his wrist a second too late. The hunter lashed out, just as Alena pressured his arm, holding it tight in place. She maneuvered him onto his back once more. The ease in which she handled him was embarrassing. “No!” He cried out in frustration as Alena knocked his blade aside. “What is wrong with you?” Xhel fought, trying to push Alena away as she sat on his chest. “Fuck.” He gasped as her hand found his shaft once more, and she wiggled her ass before him. Damn he wanted to get his hands on her rear. The shame he felt for that quite thought vanished the moment Alena’s lips found him again. Xhel couldn’t help, but hiss, as Alena lowered herself. The sight above him, wet and wanting, his own pleasure throbbing, it was almost too much. He glanced to the sides, Alena’s legs stretched out besides him, there was warmth radiating from all of her. Xhel moaned as Alena worked him. There was no getting out, not unless she wanted, Alena had made that point. He gasped. The scent of her was pleasing, tempting. His hand reached out, grabbing Alena’s thigh, sinking into warm flesh, he tried to no avail to push her away. Her hips pushed back in response, and that sent another shiver up his spine. No, he couldn’t, not with her. AS Alena took him whole, he cried out, he was throbbing, in need of release. He had to. With this monster. It tore him asunder. She was horrendous, she was beautiful. He was wrought with desire. He had to. She was making him. The thought made him seer with anger, as he brought an open palm down hard onto her ass. A second followed, pulling her down as he leaned up to press his lips between her legs. Savoring her taste, letting his tongue lap over and into her. Squeezing her rear tight. God did he hate her, but damn him if it didn’t feel right. Xhel worked his hips, pushing into Alena’s mouth it wasn’t enough. He pushed off against the bed, shifting his hips, rolling over their entangled bodies, so he was now above. Head still between her legs, he held her by the ankles, as he knelt up, bracing himself, as she still worked his manhood. This is what she wants. He thought, as he began to thrust hard into her mouth. Over and over. Letting his warmth and wetness coat his length.

Watching her friend's response to the news she brought, his expressed doubts that Catherine might have followed her didn't quite bring the relief she'd hoped it would. The way Pablo reacted, how he spoke of the vampire; it wasn't quite the same carefree nonchalance he normally displayed. Of course he'd been through so much lately, but Adele couldn't shake the feeling of dread in her chest when she thought of that vampire, or her apparent lover.
"Ah. From the warehouse..." She wanted to smile for her friend as he stood and approached; but she found that difficult thinking on the answer to his question. Reaching to grab the hand Pablo had placed on her shoulder, Adele linked her fingers with him, holding his hand at their sides momentarily before letting go and turning to get the clean sheets. "We---" How should she put it? Would he even believe her? "It was just Catherine when I found you. But," returning to the bedside, Adele shook the sheets over the mattress and began making the bed. "Another vampire showed up. Mark? Marcus?" She couldn't remember the name, Damien had been speaking to her and she'd been terrified on top of it all. Shaking her head, Adele glanced at her friend before finishing fixing the bed. "He said Lucia had been shot, and Catherine ran off to find her, I guess. She seemed concerned. We were left with the other, and he didn't seem happy with Catherine's actions. He, ah..." Adele sat down on the edge of the bed when she was done fixing it. Looking at her feet, color rose to her cheeks remembering how Marcus had put it: he'd assumed she and Pablo were lovers. But Pablo had never thought of her like that, she knew. "He let us go. He said it was for Catherine's own good. He said-" Adele stopped herself, shaking her head slightly. No, she wouldn't bring that up right now, not yet.
"Hey," she looked up at her friend, "Do they know Perrin was your sire, too?"
