Silver light poured down on the city streets of London. It was early, well late for most but early for someone such as Fang. It was just a few hours after sundown and he was taking care to look as inconspicuous as he could. With people still roaming the streets it was easy to look out of place in a cloak but he kept his hood down trying not to draw attention to himself from those around him. Even more so with what he had sniffed earlier, A Lycan. He had smelt the beast as soon as he hit the city streets, but it was faint from hours before. Usually he would be off stalking in the shadows but it was hard this early. If a human caught him it would look strange, so he decided to play the part of the normal 19 year old boy walking home.
Though that was somewhat true. And by somewhat true he meant, he did look 19 and he was headed home, but he had to make a stop on the way. He had stayed out to long the night before and gotten caught by dawn before he could feed. So he hid himself in the sewers until nightfall. But now he was ravenous with hunger. Larten Had always warned him about going to long with out food. It made one rash made them more blood thirsty and so easier to detect while trying to feed. He feared that now more then ever after the sent he had picked p as he climbed the metal ladder out of the manhole. His instincts said to hunt the beast down but this was irrational and dangerous especially underfed. He would be sloppy and an easy target for a lycan should they come upon.
"Excuse me", he said politely as he bumped into a man walking by. He clenched his fist at the smell. the very tantalizing smell of human blood. He felt his fangs growing ad used all his will power to keep them back. He needed to feed and soon. He peared around through the darkness and watched a drunk stumble into an ally. "perfect", he whispered a smiling curving across his lips. He could drink from the drunk and when the fool woke up he would think it was a nightmare. See, Fang was unusual to his kind. Just as he had been when he was a boy he was against killing, anything that wasn't a lycan that is. He could never bring himself to drink a human dry as much as his instincts drove him to want to. He would take what he needed and move on leaving the human alive and dazed.
He swallowed hard his throat on fire with hunger as he followed the drunk down the alleyway. He was so very close to getting the sustenance he needed. He just hoped he would have the strength to hold back. He wasn't a young vampire, not anymore. but even the oldest vampires could go savage if to hungry.

Ahmad scoured the roof tops of the building as he went by looking at a vampire he sensed a little while back and had been following him along the roof tops for a little bit. He watched and admired as he fed on a body, he thought it interesting that he chose to spare the persons life like how he does back at the mansion. How this vampire kept to the shadows, he tried to get close by being on top of the nearest building near this vampire. He pulled out his phone and called his scout near by, "Do you have those files I requested? I'm following the target as we speak and I need to know how to approach this one as best as possible." He then hung up his phone, with in a few minutes, his scout appeared and handed him a file and then just as quickly disappeared into the night without saying a word.
Before even opening the file, Ahmad held it in his hand. "Kinda small, must have kept off record for a long time." He then opened the file, saw a picture that seemed to match the character he was looking at, although he couldn't see the facade he was sure it was him. His name was Fang, but other than that there wasn't to much to go on. "Well that's useless, thanks for nothing scout." He said to himself as he kept following the character apparently named Fang. Ahmad jumped down on to the street and began to follow Fang a bit closer this time, hoping he would sense him and try to contact him. Dressing in a business suit could make it look like a business transaction, but he hoped Fang might join their cause.

A sense of peace and ecstasy flowed through Fang as the blood passed his lips and down his throat. He lost all tough of reality, caught up completely in the feeding. The only sound were the mans silent gasps. This was the dangerous part. When you have gone without blood to long it is much easier for the blood lust to take over. This was exactly what was going on. His mind was spinning in circles captivated by the taste of the mans blood. For a drunk in an alleyway it wasn't half bad. But then again Ab positive was his favorite. and tonight had been his lucky break. He felt the man stop moving, he was passing out. He knew he had to stop. But he couldn't the lust and hunger were to much. He felt the man begin to get cold if he didn't stop soon the man would be dead and there would be no help for him. He used all of the mental strength eh could muster and pulled himself away from the man. He sighed feeling himself begin to calm down. The burning in his throat wasn't gone, no it would never go away. But it was lessened, barely noticeable. As his senses began to come back he laid the man down. The humans would think he just passed out drunk. And any tales of a monster would be dismissed by drunkenness. This was his favorite thing about intoxicated humans. It made it ever so easy to cover up his tracks. He tensed as he got a sense of his surroundings. He was no longer alone. Thankfully though, it was just another of his kind. Though that didn't quite make him feel safe, just more at ease. He put his hand on the hilt of his sword and turned. His sapphire eyes finding a man in a business suit. He could tell by looking at him, this was an old one. Far beyond his years and very much dangerous. If he was hear to fight, He might just not make it out alive. "Hello, May I help you", he said his voice cool and even.

As the vampire turned to face him, he looked into his face and saw age and confusion, but also a hint of worry. "Hello, don't worry, I'm not here to fight you. I never harm our kind so long as it depends on me. Too much trouble of we started fighting among ourselves. I wanted to talk to you because of the fact that you seem to be new here. I know most of the vampires around here and when I saw you I didn't know you. My name is Ahmad by the way, and I came to you to offer you shelter, a safe place to feed. And in exchange all we ask is that you help us out when the time calls for it." Ahmad stopped and turned around, looking to see if anyone was listening or even cared, humans, they have no idea what is going on, ignorant, like cattle. He thought to himself, "Listen, here is the address of where I am staying, it's a small hotel in town, we can talk there." And with that Ahmad disappeared out of sight, just hoping the vampire would follow.
When Ahmad reached his hotel, he jumped in the shower, cleaned up, threw on a new suit, and went out to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of O+ blood. He sat and watched the news as he waited, hoping the new vampire would show. He watched the news a lot to see if there were any news of lycan attacks or to see if the humans have discovered anything. He pondered his thoughts as he awaited the new vampire. He thought about Anna, how she left him, how he felt he failed her. But hopefully she was doing well where ever she was, Ahmad felt responsible for her leaving. He didn't want to do the same with this one. He pulled out his phone and texted Dane, I'm meeting with a new one, hopefully this goes better than last time.

Fang relaxed a little as the other vampire spoke to him. It seemed he was trying to avoid conflict just as much as Fang. This was good, he was in know way looking to fight one such as him. His mind raced as the other continued talking. 'A place to stay, shelter', that didn't seem half bad. But what did he want in exchange? It hit him as he looked the suited man over. This was a recruitment. He should have realized that when the other called him 'new'. though new was not the word. Fang was 80 years old, yous for a vampire but he had seen a great many things sense he had been turned. He had come face to face with lycans, killed them yes, but fought them long enough to learn they thought him a vampire agent. And he had been around sense before the lycans turned the tide against his kind.
But he had stayed in the shadows out of the eye of his kin. It was much easier that way. He fit in more, could blend with the city around him. But know they were aware of him. The last vampire he had spoken to was the one who turned him. A kind man who had taught him to see humans as more then just food. this was something he and most of his kind did not share. But he looked at the address on the paper in front of him intrigued. To have a place to stay, and people like him. To know longer be alone. It was tempting. He decided he would hear what the other vampire had to say. He crept along the rooftops carefully. He still wasn't sure where the lycan he had smelled earlier was and he wasn't taking any chances. Soon he reached the hotel. He searched until finding the room number and knocked on the door.

As soon as the knock on the door was heard, Ahmad got up, turned off the TV and went to the door to open it. To his surprise the vampire had actually decided to show up. "Come on in" Letting in the other vampire and then closing the door.
"Sorry for not explaining things all to much out there. I am glad you decided to come." Trying to calm the obvious tension that always seems to be between to vampires who just met. "My name is Ahmad by the way, and I do come with a small warning. I have a scout that tracks anything on anyone I am planning on talking to or working with, and according to your file..." Ahmad pulls out a briefcase and pulled a file from it. "I can tell that you have been trying to hide, trying to keep out of sight and out of mind from the public. And as much as you have tried, my scout was still able to pull a file on you. And if we could, who else could."
Ahmad put it on a table, and tried to make things a bit more casual. "But that's not why I called you here. Why I called you here is because I know you have been alone, I can relate to that. Well I was for a good while longer than you, about 2000 years or so. Before I joined our little organization, I was alone, struggled to get on, never got to work with any of my own kind, it was a sad life. What I am here to tell you is that I am offering you an end to your self induced exile. I am here to offer you food, shelter, protection, and fellowship with your own kind."
He sat down at the table where the file was, flipping through the files casually. "Now I know you must be thinking, all of this stuff? What's the catch? I tell you the only catch is that you help us in exchange for us helping you." He sorted through his head to try and find the right words. "You see, you may already know this, but we have been fighting a war. A war with the lycans, for sometime now. We recently lost a lot in Rome, and now... and now we are trying to rebuild from this."
He got back up from the table, he went over and poured himself another glass of blood, "Now I am wanting to ask, are you wanting to join us? Or do you have more questions?" Ahmad hoped that this vampire would decide to join him, because Ahmad knew that they needed every vampire they could get to win this war.

Fang stood at the table looking over the file. there wasn't much on him, but enough that it could be a danger. He hissed at himself muttering the word damnit. He had tried so hard to stay under the radar and had failed miserably. After all this man had found him. But the fact still remained he had given him a choice. He could have left, he could have walked away. The man wasn't keeping him here. He was staying of his own free will. But he wouldn't lie to himself and say that it didn't intrigue him. His eyes fell to the ground as the other talked about relating to him. "I wasn't always alone, I had a mentor at one time", his eyes flashed from the very luminescent blue that was his natural, to red very quickly. The anger building in him at the memory. Those damn beast had taken everything from him. His lover and his mentor. He looked the man dead in the eyes as he mentioned lycans. Those damn mutts he hated so much. His eyes were past the point of blinking. They were a solid crimson. "Why didn't you say that first", he said the tone in his voice dark. He paced the room trying to calm the anger. The very mention of those creatures always drove him to this. He hated them with a firey passion. "They took everything from me.... ". He finally took a seat his hands still shaking. He flashed back once more to the night he lost his master. "they took my mentor and my lover from me", he said.

Ahmad felt sadness for this vampire, and this was rare because he rarely felt sadness. Only hatred filled his heart most of the days, as this vampire was going on about this story of loosing his lover and mentor to lycans. He felt happy and sad, he felt some empathy with the vampire, but at the same time he was more convinced that this vampire would certainly join him in the war.
"When I say we lost a lot in Rome a while back... I mean everything... And... I tell you this." Clearing his throat, "I tell you this because I think you can understand. I've never been attached to much in life, but we had our family in Rome, many vampires lived there. Good vampires, but those lycans decided that it was theirs so they tried to justify taking it from us. Only myself and the vampire king, as he calls himself. We were the only ones to make it out, we tried to save some, I lost count of how many I have killed, but there were too many. We had to retreat and start over."
Getting up to the door, "But we are recruiting, and the best part is they think we have lost, that we have nothing left. So this is our chance to regain our strength and fight back. And we would like you to join us, so what do you say?"

Fang steadied his anger and sat back in the chair. He played ahmad's words over and over in his head. They had killed so many of his kind in this war. They had taken so much from others as well. He tapped his nails on the table in thought. This could be his chance. He could stand up and fight with his bretheren against those dogs. He ground his teeth together. THose damn dogs. He could fiht them, he could take his revenge. And he could find the lycan who killed his master. That lycan would pay for what he had done.
He looked up at Ahmad his eyes a blaze with hate. "Ill do it, ill join you". He stod up walking to the window and looking outside. He would leave this city behind and start over. Instead of hiding and hunting the beasts tht dared come to his home. He would pursue him and start a life with those of his on kind. He turned around and pulled one of the katana's out of its sheath. Placing it on the table its silver blade shined. "You have my swords", he said a cold smile across his lips. "I don't want to be alone anymore".

A grin crossed Ahmad's face as Fang agreed to join him. He put the file back into the briefcase, closing the locks and handing the briefcase over to Fang. "Your file is in there along with the location of our base where you will be living. I am sorry that I can't accompany you back to the base, but I still have some work to do before I go back. Help yourself to a drink before you go back, there is also a key to this room in that briefcase." Ahmad went over and got himself a glass of blood. "There is a report of a small lycan den in this area, some lycans apparently don't know that this is our town, I'm going to wipe out this den wholesale." Ahmad bent down to one counter and pulled out a can of gasoline and a liter. He then went over to another counter and pulled out his 44 magnum with silver bullets and a silver dagger. Putting both weapons near the small of his back on his belt concealing them.
Once you get to the base, I will be there shortly after that, my scout will be there when you get there to give you a tour. And Fang, welcome to the family." Ahmad walked towards the window opening it and stepping just outside of it sitting on the ledge, looking out at the horizon. Figuring out his next steps, what he should have Fang do. Fang could come with him, but one thing that wasn't in his file was how much combat experience he had. He was older and by the weapons he carried he seemed to have seen quite a bit of fighting in his life time, but he couldn't be sure, and he didn't want to risk the life of Fang until he was sure he had training or combat experience. Ahmad had mixed emotions about Fang, Ahmad's last trainee had left him so shortly after joining him, he knew if she betrayed him, he could end her quickly. But wherever she was, she wasn't with Ahmad anymore. So this Fang decides to join, Ahmad sure hoped he would stay.
He looked down at the street, and the humans walking around not knowing, not caring, that their life could end in a second. Poor beasts, they have no clue that they are just waiting to be eaten, if they only knew, they would surely line up to receive our gift, but so many of them, will never be worthy. Ahmad turned back to Fang, "Thank you for joining us. Together we will wipe out the lycans before they can even know what will hit them. This base should be easy enough, you are welcome to join me, but just be careful, I would hate to lose you already." And with that Ahmad jumped to an adjacent building waiting to get a text from one of his scouts as to where the base was.
Not long after his phone went off, Southside, was all the text said, and that's all he needed to know, he then turned to the window to see if Fang would join him out the window, or go out the door and back to the base.
