Fighting Rebels

[Logan]

Logan looked out the window as the plane began it's descent down to earth once again. There was something tranquil about being on a plane, where nothing else mattered but the plane, where you didn't have to worry about anything else but the plane itself. And the fact that if the plane had to much trouble, you wouldn't know until it was too late, so why bother stressing about it when with all your amazing powers, you couldn't do anything about it. He had been talking with some lycans in the den before the base was gone, and some of them talked about moving to Athens. And he decided that now that he has nothing left, he should go where they wanted to. Hopefully he will make Namir proud in this new land.

The plane finally touched down, he descended the steps of the plane and made his way out to the front of the airport with his bags. He found his car pulled out in front, his beautiful 442. A man got out of the car and greeted Logan. "Hey, here she is in perfect shape. And I'm sorry but this will be the last time we speak, the doomhowls are done. It's time to branch out and find something new, but I will warn you now." He got a little closer so he could whisper, "There is a den here in Athens, but it's not doomhowl, apperently they have seen some swift paws, but the base is owned not owned by the swift paw. It's by someone else, very powerful in my opinion. Be careful." And with that the man left Logan, so he got in his car and drove off for the city.

On his drive he realized that he had no idea where to go, he had nothing now. So he drove over to a cafe in the middle of the city to ponder over his thoughts and see where to go next.

[Geoff]

Tired, tired, that was the only thing Geoff was feeling at this point. As he took a small stroll through Athens. He hoped he could convince Adele or maybe Pete his own step-brother to join him in his cause. No one seemed to understand that to do what is right, they have to stop doing what is easy. And with that he took off for his favorite cafe in town. But it wasn't long after he ordered his food that he sensed another lycan's presence in the cafe. He quickly turned around, tried to find where the sense was coming from, and with in moments he discovered the lycan sitting at a table. He must have sensed Geoff by now, he thought as he casually as to not draw attention to himself, went over a sat down next to him. Before the lycan even had time to react, Geoff spoke up saying "Don't freak we don't want to cause a scene, are you with the den? Or are you new here? Cause I don't recognize you from my old den, but you have walked into a hell hole right now, but listen we can't talk here. Follow me and I will take you back to my base just so we can talk, if you want to leave after that fine. But eat your meal first and I'll eat mine so no one suspects anything." Geoff then went over to a smaller table near him and got his food and began to eat.

[Logan]

Logan sat and ate his food quietly, wondering why this lycan felt like he had to stick his nose in his business. Why did he even care about Logan was one thing that kept going through his mind, but with nothing left he had no choice but to respond. Once the lycan left, he followed him to his base, and when they finally reached it, Logan got out of his car. He had his gun in the small of his back and he kept his hand very close to it just in case something might happen here.

Once they got inside the base, Logan looked around ignoring anything the lycan might have said to him. He looked around the immediate area, food, sleeping, a roof over his head. Logan could get used to this place. Once he turned around back and walked up to the lycan. "Alright man, why did you drag me down here? And more importantly what do you want with me?"

[Geoff]

As the lycan walked around and explored the place, Geoff could tell that this lycan seemed to have a power with authority. Geoff knew he could use that to his advantage, but he wasn't sure how to start.

"First of all, I'm Geoff, I don't think I mentioned that earlier. And like I said at the cafe, you walked into the middle of a war. You may already of the war between the vampires and us, but what you don't know is of the revolution currently in the process of taking place. To which you are talking to the leader of. I used to be part of a den, a huge den, the only den in all of Europe really, and I was the second in command of the den, second to a woman named Alena, you see rumor has it that she was the mother of all lycanthropy, and she is the one who turned me. But the thing I found out not to long ago is that she actually killed my family, then turned me. She told me that vampires did it and she didn't care."

Turning around to face away from the lycan, "Well you can live here if you want, I am always willing to accept any lycan looking for a home, but I would ask something of you, I would ask you to help me. But I'm only asking, not forcing."

[Logan]

Logan didn't care much for war, he would be happy to kill vampires. But fight his own kind, all over some silly little issue. But on the other hand, there was a lycan claiming to be higher in authority than Namir was, something he didn't like at all. And Geoff was offering him a place to stay, and something to do. Logan always needed something to do otherwise he would feel insane from boredom. He pondered these thoughts in his head and mulled them over, but one thing kept popping back into his head. Some silly little lycan thinks they are better than Namir, this lycan needs to be taught a lesson in humility.

Logan turned back to Geoff, "Alright Geoff, I'll help you fight in your little feud, only because you are offering me a place to stay and this Alena seems to be on a power trip from your little story, and I love delivering humility to those in her position. But don't think you can go around bossing me around, you asked me to join. And if you disrespect me in any matter, I might have to teach you a lesson.

[Geoff]

Geoff was a bit put off from Logan's response, he wanted to teach this guy a lesson, but that might not be a good way to start getting numbers in his group.

"I need you to know something, although I told you that I am the leader of this revolution, there is no ranking system here. We are all lycans fighting for the same things, yes I will do most of the planning but that's it. We don't give orders here, we only ask things of others. Once we are successful, then we will change things a bit but for now, we have work to do. And I am sorry but I am asking you to go into the field already. I need you to go to a certain location and spy on an enemy camp, we need to know what they are doing. For now don't attack them, but by any means defend yourself if necessary. One of our biggest advantages is that they think we are nothing, and for now I want to keep it that way."

Geoff scribbles down an address to go to, "You will have one of our scouts go with you. " Geoff reaches out to hand him the paper, "Will you do this?"

[Logan]

Logan listened to this man rant and rave, and when he finally concluded his little shpeal. Logan ripped the piece of paper out of Geoff's hand and began to walk out the door.

He was almost out the door when he felt something beat in his chest, something that made him feel the need to say something to Geoff, even though this guy had a real ego it seemed. He was going to be living with the guy, better than anyone ever offered. Logan turned around to face Geoff. "Hey, thanks for everything, I'll take care of this for ya." And with that Logan walked out the door and got into his car. As he started the car, he found his picture of Namir, and as he pondered it, he felt that this is what she would have wanted for him. He could make a difference with this guy.

And with that he drove off for the enemy camp to spy on it.
